Services
Design it, prove it, build it.
Corrosion Integrity carries a project from the first soil resistivity reading to the rectifier that gets energised — and then to the monitoring that shows it is still working. Four service lines, one point of contact.
How an engagement runs
Six steps, in this order, every time.
The sequence matters: every step depends on the measurement taken in the one before it. We do not price a design before we have walked the site.
- 01Site visitWe walk the asset before we estimate. Access, environment, existing systems, and what has already failed.
- 02Survey & testingSoil resistivity, potential survey, laboratory corrosivity analysis, NDT and coating testing as the asset requires.
- 03Engineering reportCondition, remaining useful life, prioritised deficiencies and the cost of each corrective option.
- 04Design & specificationCathodic protection and monitoring system design, plans, specifications and material selection.
- 05ConstructionOur own crews install it — ground beds, tank systems, rectifiers, test stations, integrity digs.
- 06MonitoringRemote monitoring units, coupons, probes and permanent reference cells, so the next survey is a download, not a mobilisation.
01 — Engineering services
Corrosion engineering that starts with a measurement.
We conduct soil resistivity surveys and laboratory corrosivity analysis, then design the cathodic protection and monitoring system around what the ground actually is — using electronic probes, remote monitoring units, coupons and instrumentation.
Cathodic protection designGalvanic and impressed current
Design of both galvanic (sacrificial) and impressed current systems, sized from measured soil resistivity, coating condition and current demand. Deliverables include design plans, specifications, material take-offs and a monitoring scheme.
- Soil resistivity surveys and laboratory corrosivity analysis
- Anode ground bed design — distributed and deep well
- Rectifier and SCADA rectifier specification
- Remote monitoring unit (RMU) and instrumentation schemes
- Interference and stray current studies
Above-grade storage tanks & clarifiersWater and wastewater
Inspection, installation, repair and maintenance of cathodic protection for water storage tanks and treatment units.
- Permanent anode systems and long-life anodes
- Automatic and SCADA rectifiers
- Corrosion rate probes and permanent reference cells
- Remote monitoring units
- Tank wash-down and disinfection before return to service
Atmospheric corrosion assessmentAbove-grade steel and equipment
Establishing control provisions, evaluating the pollutants and exposure driving the attack, and developing recommendations — protective coatings, vapour corrosion inhibitors, or cathodic protection where it applies.
Reinforced concrete corrosion controlStructures and foundations
Experience across retaining walls, tunnels, reservoirs, above-ground storage tanks, pipelines, buildings and foundations, with recommendations covering coatings, inhibitors and membranes.
- Chloride and carbonation profiling
- Half-cell potential and delamination survey
- Impressed current and galvanic systems for reinforcement
Coatings & paints consulting and inspectionAMPP certified inspectors
Certified specialists provide testing, evaluation, specification preparation and on-site inspection. We evaluate coating thickness, bond strength and the cause of failure across interior and exterior applications.
- Dry film, wet film and adhesion testing
- Specification preparation and holiday detection
- Coating failure analysis
Internal corrosion engineeringMulti-element monitoring
A multi-element monitoring approach using weight-loss coupons, linear polarisation resistance (LPR) and electrical resistance (ER) probes — for pipelines, vessels, tanks, concrete, offshore structures and atmospheric environments, including instantaneous corrosion rate measurement.
Corrosion failure analysisWhy it failed, and what stops the next one
Forensic investigation of failures and near-misses, with material selection guidance for corrosive environments and a corrective action plan that addresses the mechanism rather than the symptom.
02 — Condition assessment
A report you can put a capital budget on.
Detailed insight into the reliability of your facility, in a fully comprehensive engineering report customised to your expectations. Engineers are assigned by forensic specialty and work to the standards your asset is governed by.
What the report contains
- Assessments that follow or exceed ASTM standards
- Condition of building systems and components
- Remaining useful life (RUL) of each asset
- Repair or replacement options for every deficiency
- Deficiencies prioritised and categorised with corrective actions
- Renewal and replacement costs for systems and components
- A strategic plan for repair, replacement and modernisation
- Preventive maintenance plans and capital planning
- Facility Condition Index (FCI) benchmark for the whole facility
Standards we reference
Areas of expertise
Water and wastewater, bridges, process piping, transmission pipelines, and concrete and steel infrastructure — working closely with owner/operators to maintain reliability and continuous operation through non-destructive testing.
Request an assessment03 — Pipe & tank inspection
Twelve NDT and coating test methods, run in-house.
No subcontracted inspection, no waiting on a third party's schedule. Our technicians carry the kit and our engineers interpret the data against the governing standard.
Select any method on the homepage explorer for its principle, what it detects and where we apply it.
04 — Construction & project management
The engineer who specified it is accountable for the crew that installs it.
Years of design-build corrosion experience on multimillion-dollar projects across nuclear, oil & gas, municipal and private sector work.

One project manager, whole life cycle
Qualified project managers stay with the project from award to close-out. A single point of contact ensures deliverables land on schedule and within budget — and that the person you call already knows the asset.
