Vinyl electrical tape as the outer jacket over a fused rubber splice — abrasion and UV protection, not the seal itself.
UncategorizedScotch Super 88 Vinyl Tape
Heavier vinyl tape for the same job where the splice will be pulled through soil or rock and the thinner jacket would abrade through.
UncategorizedScotchkote Electrical Coating
Brush-on sealer over a finished splice or a cadweld cap, sealing the tape edges where water would otherwise start working in.

Compression C-crimps and split-bolt connectors, sized to the conductors being joined. Tell us the two gauges and we will price the connector.
UncategorizedPin Brazing — Materials and Installation
Pin brazed lead attachment where a cadweld is not permitted — thin wall, high pressure, or an operator who will not allow an exothermic weld on a live line. Quoted with the materials and the technician together.
Your quote list
Send the list, get sized components back.
Add quantities if you know them. If you do not, leave them — the sizing questions below matter far more than the count.
How we size it
Five answers and we can specify the system.
Anode selection is not a catalog lookup. Current demand is set by the electrolyte and the coating, and anode life is set by the current. These are the inputs we need.
1 — The structure
Material, dimensions and surface area. Buried pipeline, above-grade tank, clarifier, reinforced concrete, submerged steel — each changes the geometry of the current path.
2 — The electrolyte
Soil resistivity in ohm-centimetres, or the water chemistry inside the tank. This single number drives ground bed design more than anything else on the list.
3 — Coating condition
A well-coated line needs a fraction of the current a bare one does. Age, type and known holidays let us estimate the real demand rather than the theoretical one.
4 — Power available
Grid power at the site, or none? No service means an off-grid PV package rather than a conventional rectifier, and that changes the whole current budget.
5 — What is already there
Existing anodes, rectifiers, test stations and any potential readings you have. Retrofitting into a live system is a different problem from a green-field design.
Not sure?
Send what you have. We would rather run a soil resistivity survey and tell you what the ground is than quote a system against assumptions.
Ask an engineerService request
Tell us what you are protecting.
We visit the site before we estimate. Send the structure, the environment and what you already know — an engineer will come back to you, not a call center.
